I am a glaciologist interested in fundamental, mathematical aspects of the dynamics glaciers and ice sheets.
My work is primarily motivated by curiosity for how nature works. By combining a diverse background in fluid dynamics, applied mathematics, theoretical and observational glaciology, my research strives to unravel the physics governing rapid and potentially catastrophic change of the cryosphere in a warming climate.
